AutonowmyQ™ is published for the world to adopt — and protected so the standard stays trustworthy. Here is exactly how the rights work.
Outer ring — Published Architecture (open). The ladder L0–L10, the twelve domains, the AQ Coordinate concept, the AQ formula. Freely readable and citable with attribution — openness is how a standard wins.
Second ring — Protected Expression (copyright). The written model: definitions, capability statements, documents, diagrams, this artifact. Copying the text is infringement even where the ideas are open.
Third ring — Protected Identity (trademark). The names and marks — AutonowmyQ™, AQ™, AQDS™, AQOS™, AQCS™, the AQ Coordinate Dial device, "AQ Certified". Nothing may carry these names without licence.
Core — Closed Instrument (trade secret, by contract). The question bank, behavioural anchors, gate definitions, telemetry bindings, calibration data, scoring implementation. Never published; available only under confidentiality within licensed programs.
Adoption is free. Imitation of the text, the name, or the instrument is not.

The AutonowmyQ framework documents — including the model specification, capability statements, level and domain definitions, assessment materials, diagrams, scorecard formats, and this artifact — are original literary and artistic works of Autonowmy Technology Pvt Ltd, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and international copyright conventions.
Reading, citing, and quoting brief excerpts of the published architecture with the attribution "AutonowmyQ™ (AQ) — © Autonowmy Technology Pvt Ltd"; internal circulation of published materials in unmodified form, with all notices intact.
Reproduction or translation of substantial portions; creation of derivative frameworks, training materials, or assessment instruments based on the AutonowmyQ texts; use of AutonowmyQ materials to deliver commercial assessment, training, or certification services.
AutonowmyQ™, AQ™ (Autonowmy Quotient), AQDS™, AQOS™, AQCS™, the AQ Coordinate Dial device, and "AQ Certified" are trade marks of Autonowmy Technology Pvt Ltd (registrations applied for / pending in applicable classes, including software, SaaS and technology services, and education, training and certification services).
The marks may be used nominatively — to refer accurately to the framework (e.g., "our team studied the AutonowmyQ ladder") — provided the ™ symbol and attribution appear at first use. The marks may not be used: in or as part of any product, service, programme, event, or credential name; in any manner implying assessment, accreditation, certification, or endorsement by Autonowmy; or in any modified, abbreviated, or combined form.
"AQ Certified", "AQ Accredited", and level/standing claims (e.g., "L5 · Institutionalised") may be displayed only by organisations holding a current, verifiable credential issued under AQCS — the AutonowmyQ Certification Standard.
The AutonowmyQ instrument is a trade secret protected by contract. Access to closed-tier materials is granted only under a written agreement containing confidentiality obligations, and only for the purpose licensed. Every AutonowmyQ agreement — framework licence, accreditation, certification, pilot, or evaluation — incorporates the confidentiality terms below.
"Recipient shall hold all Closed-Tier AutonowmyQ materials in strict confidence; use them solely for the purpose expressly licensed; restrict access to personnel bound by equivalent obligations; not disclose, publish, copy, decompile, or create derivative works from them; and, on termination or demand, return or verifiably destroy all copies. These obligations survive termination of the agreement. Breach causes irreparable harm for which injunctive relief is an appropriate remedy in addition to damages."
